The number of students attracted to the study and practice of law increased significantly, by 33% between 1960 and 1970. This increase is much more than the 10% increase in the number of lawyers one decade before that. This increase is brought by the number of the social legislations that came into effect over a period of time and the expanding scope of government regulations and judicial rulings that took place.
